Question: I'm not seeing any captions in the video preview window

Answer:

First, click on the camcorder icon in the Preview Window toolbar.

Second, go to Caption » Preview Options, and make sure that "Display Preview Image" is checked.

DirectX
Since version #2.18, CaptionMaker uses DirectX to display video on the computer screen. If you do not see the video on the computer screen, you may download and install most recent version of DirectX from this link.
